I am not sure if this is the right place to post a message of this nature but decided to try. I came across two zinc plates recently that were used to print the illustrations in the 1930 book titled "The Sugar Plum Tree And Other Verses" written by Eugene Field.
The plates are zinc, (I believe) and depict the original illustrations by Fern Bisel Peat. They are from two of the poems in the book. One is from "The Naughty Doll", and the other is from "The Sugar Plum Tree". I have been told that these are very scarce and may be of considerable value.
They are currently up for auction on eBay. I am writing this merely to inform collectors and others who specialize in this sort of item that may be interested in these that they are listed. Here is the link:
